Toronto / Niagara Falls 5/8-2001 We woke up very early! John Fredrik and Hans had a jet-lag, and were ready for sightseeing at 7.00 am. It was a hot night and a HOT morning!
CN Tower 147 floors! Ca. 550 metres high! Ten
metres up in the elevator John Fredrik started to become sick! (and
it only got worse! :) We drank our coffee 350 meters above Toronto,
and the view was stunning! The CN Tower has a terrific glass-floor.
(See the pictures) The Blue Jays Sky Dome Stadion was deep down
below our shivering feet. City life was too hard for us this day and we left early after a
real American breakfast. Now we headed for Niagara Falls. Niagara falls The traffic down to Niagara falls
was terrible but after 4 hours in the wonderful air-conditioned
Buick we reached Niagara falls, also called Viagra falls - the city
for the newly wedded and nearly dead. Anyway, the view of the falls
was spectacular, although it was a wet experience. An abligatory
"ouuohhh" later during the fireworks we settled at "crazy Eddie's
Hostel". Marius and Hans also got to visit Bill and Nancy who are
friends of Marius'. Bill is a "railway-fanatic", and we had a great
time!
