Crossing the great lake Huron, 7/8-2001
By: John Fredrik Ølstørn ( 2001-09-28 )

After a beer in the harbour of Tobermory, we took the ferry across Lake Huron up to Manitoulin Island. This is the worlds biggest freshwater island. (Indian country!!!) Ugh.

The rest of the day we spent crossing these indian lands wathing our backs for flying tomahawks and bears. Marius thought he saw Moonbeam (you know from Silverarrow). (Please translate into Norweian.)

We tried out camping in a provincial park. Because of the draught we are not allowed to make fire, but we tried anyway. The Ranger was not pleased!
